About Old Bones Inc.

Old Bones Inc. is a collaboration between self-taught artists Andy Dykeman and Mark Regester. Their work reflects the DIY values and aesthetics that come from spending formative years immersed in the punk rock scene. Skulls, UFOs, ghosts, spines, brains and fire are all common themes in their work with a healthy dose of writing and dark humor.

Andy is from the mysterious land of Alton, Illinois where works as a local chiropractor. He played drums in the bands Club Zero and Judge Nothing and would go on to tour with bands like Green Day, Joan Jett & The Blackhearts and The Descendents among others. When not fixing backs, Andy spends his time making art and writing, he has shown his art all over the country and is a resident artist at 31art Gallery in St. Louis, MO.

Mark was born in Montrose, Scotland and raised in California where he discovered the vibrant skateboarding and punk rock scene in Santa Barbara, spending his days skating, playing in bands, going to shows and making zines. Mark and his family moved to St. Louis in 2010 where he is a resident artist at 31art Gallery, his work has shown in numerous galleries throughout the US, Europe and South America.
